Moderate tempo with Gidday Gidday leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. FREEMAN (7) has hit his straps this prep since joining the Mark Currie stable, and she has not missed a cheque in all of his 3 starts on this track. She will find this easier than her last start here 2 weeks ago when she finished second, and with the advantage of the pole position, she can bounce straight back into the winner's circle. GIDDAY GIDDAY (12) is a promising locally trained mare who set the pace here last start and was only claimed late, after giving a nice kick early in the run home. She gets a big swing in her draw this time and can take them all the way. LIMAHULI (4) was beaten by a wide draw at the Sunshine Coast a fortnight ago and will start from a superior gate this time. He was building his form nicely before that start and should be hard to beat in this. MISTER SELFIE (5) has hit the line powerfully in his first 2 starts this prep over 1000m and with an extra 300m being ideal third up, he can go one better. SUGGESTED PLAY: Limahuli each-way.
