Despite the wide draw Born To Be Alive should cross and set a genuine tempo. WATERMELON (1) is a very versatile gelding with form on the turf and more so on the poly track here, scoring 3 times. He is down in class and ready to bounce straight back into the winners' circle. GREEN MEADOWS (3) failed to fire on a soft turf track at Eagle Farm 10 days ago after winning his maiden comfortably on this track before that. He can make amends. Each way. BORN TO BE ALIVE (10) did well to finish second by a short head fresh up on a heavy track at Casino 2 weeks ago. The blinkers come off, and he will be fit enough now to run out a strong 2000m on the poly track here. He benefits from a 3kg claim and can go one better. GOT YOURSELF A GUN (2) failed to run on at Ipswich last week and is backing up for his third start this month. He likes the poly track surface and can bounce back immediately. PAPAL MISS (7) made up a lot of late ground at Ipswich 7 days ago and she has won on this track in the past. With the right run, she can figure in the top 3 this time.
