Good early pressure anticipated with a large representation of unraced runners. Of the raced brigade, WILD RUBY (11) looks the most likely winner after some super runs last campaign including a city placing at her final start before the spell. That was over 1600m though, so resumes at a trip short of her best, but has drawn to race handy and her experience could play a key role. LADY MAESTRO (9) has won two trials in preparation for the debut and looks primed for a positive debut. WAYNE'S DREAM (10) has been well-educated ahead of start No. 1 and the stable always needs to be respected on the home deck. SAY IT ZESTY (2) has shown enough at the trials to suggest he's got enough talent to win a race or two. LES GARCONS (1) is in good hands and can play a role from a nice draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wild Ruby to win.
