Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. Of the raced brigade, WILD RUBY (11) looks the most likely winner after some super runs last campaign including a city placing at her final start before the spell. That was over 1600m though, so resumes at a trip short of her best, but has drawn to race handy and her experience could play a key role. LADY MAESTRO (9) has won two trials in preparation for the debut and looks primed for a positive debut. WAYNE'S DREAM (10) has been well-educated ahead of start No. 1 and the stable always needs to be respected on the home deck. SAY IT ZESTY (2) has shown enough at the trials to suggest he's got enough talent to win a race or two. LES GARCONS (1) is in good hands and can play a role from a nice draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wild Ruby to win.
