GRAND EST (6) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, in the G3 Aichi Hai at Chukyo over 1400m. Has a solid record at this circuit. Sure to go well. NANAO (1) didn’t threaten when resuming last start over 1400m in the G3 Aichi Hai at Chukyo, finishing eighth, beaten 5 lengths. Has a decent second up record. Leading chance on best form. KITANO EXPRESS (7) finished 9 lengths back in 15th in stakes company last time over 1200m in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at Chukyo. Did win when fresh from a spell two runs back by a neck at Kokura. Has sound form at this track and distance with a win and two minor placings from four runs. Should be competitive. MEINER LENNON (11) turned in a modest performance when seventh last time out over 1200m at Hanshin, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at Kokura at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
