Can stalk the fast tempo again after sitting on the speed with a narrow second to Cinsault over 1300m at Randwick. Looks destined for better races and gets every opportunity here. MONTE VEEBEE (14) handled the rise in grade with a fighting third over 1200m at Randwick second-up. Will put himself in the right position again and sure to be thereabouts. INTERJECTION (7) deep into the campaign and kept finding with the 58.5kg to run a close-up third to Sovereign Hill over 1350m at this track. Can sit off the good speed and launch late. TRANSCEND (13) lightly raced filly who resumes after showing ability in her first Australian start last November. Primed for this with the two trials and yet to race on a good surface. Big market watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: La Roja can get the job done.
