Certain to be a strong tempo with Metal Speed, Keiai Sena and Emperor's Sword leading the charge. FERVENT (8) is back from a spell of three months. Was narrowly beaten at his only appearance when last in work in the G3 Sports Nippon Sho Kyoto Kimpai over 1600m. Should park just off the speed and looks sure to be in the finish. MINI TRANSAT (2) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by a head over today's journey at Kyoto. Goes well over this journey with four wins and one minor placing. Twice placed at this level and can measure up again. BUENA ONDA (5) raced handy but tired badly and finished 15th last time out at Gr 3 level over 1600m at Tokyo, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has a win in a Grade 3 on the CV. Should bounce back. SIRIUS COLT (15) was unplaced two runs back then was only a length away last start at Gr 3 level over 1600m at Tokyo. Going okay and can figure in the finish again.
