Solid tempo set by Shirakami Impulse and Fuji Hook Hand. TREMOLO (2) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at Morioka Dirt but disappointed last time when tenth at this track over 2000m. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player in a more suitable assignment today. ITAZURA VEGA (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at Morioka Dirt, finishing second and beaten 2 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. SHIRAKAMI IMPULSE (9) started favourite last time over 1400m at Morioka Dirt but could only manage third when he was always up in the leading division. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Expected to run well. ADORER NICOLE (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when seventh over 2000m at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
