Reasonable tempo with Rockbarton Marshal probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. BRILLIANT KNIGHT (2) lightly raced filly who was thrown in the deep end last start with a battling eighth over 1500m at Rosehill in Highway class. Finds a more suitable contest and can rediscover winning form on a firmer surface. PICK UP THE TAB (1) gets out in trip today and comes back a level fifth-up. Returned from a let-up over the unsuitable trip with a poor last over 1250m at Taree. Claim helps from the gate and needs to produce here. LOOK AT MEGO (5) just over three-weeks between runs when she scored a surprise win over 1500m at this track. Confidence is high and has the speed to get across from the gate. Place best. ROCKBARTON MARSHAL (4) lightly raced gelding heading in the right direction. Shed his Maiden tag at the second race start then run down late when second over 1500m here. Blinkers go on and sure to be thereabouts. PHOENIX POWER (3) eye-catching return over the shorter trip here. Strengthened over the break and don't dismiss. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brilliant Knight looks hard to stop.
