Genuine pace with Vatican Rose taking up the running ahead of Bel Ragazzo and Twilight Tango. BEL RAGAZZO (1) resumes today and looks primed for a bold effort with a winning trial under his belt recently. The wide draw hurts here, though he does have good early speed and can roll across from out wide. Will take beating if he's close to his best. POLUNIN (5) is on debut today for the Jolly's and his recent trial was solid at Gawler. Only one trial coming into this, but he's shown talent all the way through and he can play a leading role from an inside barrier. BELLE MONTAGNE (8) showed good improvement last start when beaten 3.4L at this track and trip. She was a 50-1 chance there, but ran a good figure for this field and she can put her best foot forward. KATRINA'S LEGACY (4) showed enough in his only trial and looks to have found a suitable race on debut. Can feature. ALL TOO ELEGANT (6) won't be far away coming back in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bel Ragazzo looks the one.
