Strong tempo, primarily from Plus Ultra and Hakusan Sakuyahime. PLUS ULTRA (2) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 1500m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Has the talent to produce another win. MOZU AKATOMBO (3) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 4 lengths over 900m at this track. Will be up on the speed from the low draw. In a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. OKOJU (5) finished 13th two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. SANONO SALVADOR (1) started at $3.80 last time but could only manage sixth at this track over 1400m. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Deserves respect on best figures.
