Strong early tempo with Mr Ribtickler and Amical leading the way. AMICAL (3) broke his maiden in good fashion on debut before being disqualified at a later date. His trials and jumpouts coming into this have been very strong and he has enough speed to get across from the draw. He's crossed the line first once before, and he looks set to do it here again. BE BRIEF (4) settled last but finished off strongly fin a 1050m maiden at Morphettville on debut. Out to 1200m is a big tick and he'll appreciate this easier race today. May get back in the run but he can storm home late in the race. LOVE KAYE (14) resumes for the new yard and moved well in a recent trial at Morphettville. She rates highly on the debut effort and she's expected to be in the finish. HUNTING HARD (13) is not to be discounted on debut. RESILIENT RUBY (11) finds the right race and won't be far away in her debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Amical.
