Moderate tempo headed by Gloria Laus. MEINER TICKET (11) did well when resuming over 1400m in the G2 Keio Hai Spring Cup at this track last start, finishing third and beaten 2 lengths. This far easier and goes well second-up. Course and distance winner and looks a strong winning chance. KANSHIN (8) came from well back on the corner to score last time out over 1400m at this track. Tackles a much tougher assignment but he is a leading contender. IMMIGRANT SONG (7) last appeared on April 4 when a good fifth over 1600m in the G3 Lord Derby Challenge Trophy at Nakayama, beaten 2 lengths, which was his only run of the campaign. Settles back early but winds up late. Talented galloper who usually races in tougher class. Grade 2 winner who should be right in the finish. GLORIA LAUS (10) finished fourth when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Niigata. Solid top-three hope.
