GOING: S(5)

HARBOUR ST BAKERY OAMARU 1200m

Track: SOFT 5     True

Strong tempo with Rochello, Miss Miranda and I'munstoppable leading the charge. EXPRESS COUP (2) has been freshened up since running her usual honest race for second on a heavy track at Riverton just over 5 weeks ago. She revels in the wet, and if she is not in need of the run, she is the one to beat for us. ROCHELLO (3) set the pace and faded last time out over 1400m at Wingatui, and will drop back to her favoured 1200m here. She can take them all the way this time. LA BELLA NERA (5) has not won for some time and will be resuming from a spell. She has won fresh up in the past, and her stable has been in good form. If the track is not too heavy, then she can take this out at odds. I'MUNSTOPPABLE (6) makes her South Island debut, and she did win fresh up at Matamata last spring in October. Let the market be the best guide, and she can make a winning South Island debut. ANNIA AURELIA (8) has had her issues, and she had a recent trial since her only run last year at Riccarton in November. Use the market as the best guide. SUGGESTED PLAY: Express Coup can win.
