COUNT NICHOLAS (8) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1000m at Gold Coast. Very consistent conveyance who is sure to give a great sight. HEARTONI (3) was a winner over 1050m at Rockhampton last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 0.6 lengths. Will go forward and should be in the finish again. INVAHIR (4) resumes here but the form he showed when last in work was good enough for a race of this nature. Can feature while fresh. THELWELL (6) finished fourth last time out over 1200m on turf at Doomben, beaten 2 lengths. First try on the synthetic today but has winning prospects. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 8,3,4,6.
