Strong pace from Science Degree and Sure Thing matching motors with Prawns Eleven close at hand. PLAYING GAMES (8) missed by 1L two back before a disappointing performance at Geraldton last time out. Now lines up for the Peter Fernie stable and back to 1300m looks ideal. Can settle in a handy position from the barrier draw for Nottle and she can get back to her best form. DONT WAIT FOR LUCK (3) was in winning form before tackling the WA Day Cup most recently. He dominated here two back when winning by 3.4L and this shapes similarly with Faithfull on board. Can sit just off the speed and get back to winning ways. CLOSE AT HAND (2) got the job done over 1100m last time out in a strong performance second-up. Out to 1300m is no issue and the claim of Martinan comes in handy. Can raise the bar again third-up now and can play a leading role. SURE THING (4) is third-up here and can get back to his best. SCIENCE DEGREE (5) won't be far away if he holds his recent form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Playing Games can bounce back to winning ways.
