MIENO CROWN (15) is close to a win at the fourth run back from a spell, the latest effort a second over 2200m at this track. Rock-hard fit now and long overdue. Gets chance. CERVARA (6) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a spell last start over 2400m at Niigata. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Hard to beat. LARVANDAD (8) settled back on debut last time out and battled on evenly to finish fifth over 2000m at Kyoto. Has ability and must be respected. DANON MIDNIGHT (5) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 2 lengths, after being in contention on the bend at his latest appearance over 2000m at Niigata. Can build on that encouraging effort last start.
