Pace genuine with Chasing Warrior booting up to lead. HAKUSHU (2) has been edging towards an overdue win in some better fields than this, and he was not beaten far as the favourite when finishing eighth at Ellerslie nearly 2 weeks ago. Dropping back from 1600m to 1400m will suit him, and he can get the job done this time. Follow your money. SHIATSU (12) failed to fire fresh up here a month ago on a fairly testing heavy track. She will improve quickly with that run under her belt, and most notably, Craig Grylls sticks with her. Each way. HERO OF WAR (13) got a long way back at Ellerslie nearly 2 weeks ago, and was doing her best work late. She has 200m less to carry this time, but if she can settle a tad closer on a genuine tempo, then she can cause an upset in this. PRINCESS ELSA (11) has been racing well over 1200m, and she is now ready to step up to 1400m for the first time. A wet track is no problem, and she is well worth including in all combos. IMPERIAL EMPRESS (6) can be hard to catch, but she can never be underestimated. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hero Of War each way.
