WATERMELON (2) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 2060m at Doomben. Yet to break through this time in but hasn't been far away, with four placings to his name. Expected to feature. ELEANOR NANCY (5) finished 2.75 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1800m at Gold Coast three weeks ago. Steps up in journey today. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts her right in this. LET'S DO IT AGAIN (3) was in the money two starts back at Gold Coast but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at Doomben over 2060m after being in the firing line on the corner. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he can find the winners' list. PAPAL MISS (7) improved sharply last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 2000m at Warwick three days ago. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SUGGESTED PLAY: Watermelon to go one better.
