Genuine pace with L'embellir finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. CANELE FLAVOR (8) is first-up since October 22. Has a great record when fresh with three successes from four runs including a win over 1400m at this track at the start of last prep. Will be tough to beat. ALLES GUT (5) was on the speed from the rails draw last start and battled on well to finish second over 1600m here. Nicely placed to go one better. TAKESHI (3) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third when resuming last start over 1200m at this circuit. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Best figures measure up and is sure to run well. L'EMBELLIR (10) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1400m at this course after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has her share of ability and is a definite top-three prospect.
