A distinct absence of early speed so don't expect any records to be broken. ZOUSTRONG (3) switched from a NSW yard and first-up was too good for the Longreach Maidens jumping a 2.1F. Is still well shy of his best form and has placed second up. He's capable of using the inside gate and can go back-to-back. HE'S THE ONE (1) resumed here over 1100m in stronger and was beaten a nose. Keeps a leading hoop and is proven second-up. Always pouts in and can fight out the finish. MISSISSIPPI DREAM (8) has been mixing trips and has pieces of form that would see him competitive. Comes back in grade and trip and can get some of the money putting her best foot forward. CRYPTOLOGY (2) resumes for a strong Rockhampton yard. May come back better and is worth a betting watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zoustrong to win.
