Off the low draw The Symbol is likely to find the lead at a slick tempo. THE GLAMOROUS ONE (10) has had 3 starts to date, all coming on this track, and his best effort was a last start second here a month ago over this trip on a heavy track, when beaten by just under 3 lengths. She cops a wide draw, but can go one better. THE MAILMAN (3) dug deep to go down fighting at Avondale last time out, when finishing third by a neck on a heavy track. He can settle to the outside of runners this time, and he should go close to winning. LAURA (11) was a beaten favourite over 2200m at Te Aroha 8 weeks ago, and is probably better over this trip as she gets stronger with more racing. She has been kept fit with a recent trial, and she has top 4 claims in this. Follow your money. SWEET DISPOSITION (2) made up a lot of late ground to finish runner-up on debut at Matamata, and with natural improvement, he can go one better, especially over a long trip. CHAOS CREATOR (14) was only beaten by a head at Avondale last start, and an extra 200m is ideal. Stick with her. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Glamorous One can win this.
