A solid tempo anticipated with Arduous and War Too All ahead of Vredefort and Eleanor Nancy.
CERTIFY (5) enjoyed the step up to 1700m and got the maiden win out of the way in tradesman like fashion at the Gold Coast last start. Coming back 100m isn't ideal but he gets the perfect run out of gate one and is sure to prove tough to hold out when presented. NOVEMBER AIR (2) settled handy then closed her race off well and was beaten under a length last time out in a Class 4 over this course and distance. Boasts a very good record at the mile. Handles soft tracks comfortably so she looks a danger. ARDUOUS (4) led and looked a chance but was swamped late in an 1800m BM58 here recently. All three of her wins have come at 1600m, once on a heavy track. One of the chief contenders. ELEANOR NANCY (6) has been racing well of late without threatening. Doesn't mind the sting out of the track and from a nice gate makes plenty of each-way appeal. Big gap to VREDEFORT (7) who won at Gympie last start but must be a risk on a bog track. SUGGESTED PLAY: Certify has the upside and can win again.
