King Of Valhalla is expected to lead at a strong tempo.
EVERYBODY RISE (1) has switched from Matthew Vella to Jack Bruce and returns from a 23-week spell. Placed at eight of 13 runs including all four first-up appearances. The NSW form should stand up favourably so a long-awaited win is on the cards. PARADING GUS (8) lines up for the first time in 21 weeks. Opened last prep with a sound third over this course and distance. Yet to encounter a heavy track but if he handles it this race is not out of reach. MAJOR HOT (7) is back for a second campaign off a 23-week spell. Placed on debut over 1100m at Ipswich on a soft track. Worth plenty of thought. KING OF VALHALLA (4) has been in the money at three of five appearances. Did weaken after leading at his only run on a heavy surface. Racing well and is not out of contention despite that question mark. DEMES GIRL (12) is yet to salute in 23 runs. The latest effort at Gatton was sound and a repeat effort gives her an each-way chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Everybody Rise to win for the new stable.
