Strong pace with Cheerful Cat, Vredefort and Pauli paving the way. ESPOIR DA TAP (5) did little and finished 9 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1800m at Sunshine Coast last start after being in the firing line on the turn, a less impressive effort than her eighth at Sunshine Coast the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. NOVEMBER AIR (2) fought on for third last start over 1600m at Sunshine Coast, making it two minor placings in a row. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. NOIRE EMPEROR (1) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at Eagle Farm with success over 1690m at Ipswich two weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. VREDEFORT (4) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1.5 lengths over 1470m at Gympie. Finds a suitable race and can feature prominently. SUGGESTED PLAY: Espoir Da Tap should get her chance from this draw.
