Not much early speed of note and Mywifeisnothere and Emperor Tzu may find themselves setting a steady tempo. EMPEROR TZU (2) will find this a fair bit easier than last start when tackling the Listed Port Adelaide Guineas last start. The first up run in a Ballarat maiden reads quite well for this and third up, drawn to kick up and hold the front, he should go close. EMANATING (9) has been thereabouts in two runs back from a spell, getting home well last week to 1400m. Up in trip again on the quick turnaround, she should take holding out. SUN IN JUNE (12) faced the starter for the first time and finished eighth last start at Sandown-Lakeside over 1400m, beaten 7 lengths. She can do much better than that. KADDARI (11) was okay here two back in a good maiden and solid again last time at Cranbourne. Tough draw but she has minor claims. CREUSA (8) resumes and can run a good race fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Emperor Tzu to win.
