A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. VEGAS JEONTU (3) was in the firing line on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1200m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. TYCANTHUNDER (4) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this track, beaten only 0.6 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. SHACKLE LAUD (6) is back at the races for the first time since October 31. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1200m at this track. Definite top-three chance. BRIGHT MARINE (7) raced below her best last time when sixth over 1200m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
