Solid tempo with Best Eagle going forward from the good alley. KING COBAMA (6) settled well back last start and never threatened when 5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1200m at Doomben. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. BACIAMI (9) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1110m at Doomben, beaten 3.5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. BEST EAGLE (1) is a maiden galloper resuming from a spell after finishing tenth over 1200m at Gold Coast at the latest appearance on November 1. Fitter for three trials, placing most recently. Should be involved in the finish. TRIP HAZARD (8) finished second last time over 1200m at Gold Coast, beaten a long neck. Will trim down following recent racing. In the right race and is one of the better hopes. SUGGESTED PLAY: King Cobama looks well placed.
