GOING: G(4)

TOYOTA FORKLIFTS CLASS 3 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1000m

Track: GOOD 4   Clear (Max: 25)   Rail: True.

Lightning Speed, Girls Weekend and Helluva Teen to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. WEAR THE CROWN (14) stalked the leader when resuming over this trip and knuckled down strongly late to put them away with authority. He’s a progressive type and from another favourable draw he can absolutely go on with it. DITTERICH (5) finished full of running last start at Wellington and just missed. He’ll appreciate the expected tempo and draws to take closer order. Big price. HARRY THE THIEF (1) has been rock solid since resuming and should be hitting his peak now. Expect him to be running on. TRANSACTIONS (3) was too strong for them fresh and was far from disgraced last time. He’s peaking and reunites with the winning hoop, so he stays in the mix. ROCKET RUDEE (7) lengthened nicely late at Gundagai to arrive just in time. With the key switch to Berry and a middle draw, he’s worth keeping very safe. CAMBAR (4) not got going last time in but has since been gelded. Keeping safe for the local barn. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wear The Crown gets the nod. Saving on Ditterich each-way.
