Strong tempo assured with Darn Hot Lady, Hey Daisy and A Touch From Fayt rolling to the front.
NEPRAVDA (1) is back from a 23-week spell and has transferred from the Hayes stable to Rob Heathcote. Ran a couple of nice races early last prep in Melbourne midweek company. Comes to hand quickly and filled a placing at the only run on a heavy track so all the boxes are ticked. THE SOUR (10) raced on the speed then dug deep to be beaten just half a length by Gagnante Enchere when resuming over this course and distance last start. Nicely drawn and drops 4kgs so she is right in contention. GAGNANTE ENCHERE (4) stoked up late to just arrive in time when fresh from a spell here at this trip recently. That was the first success in nine tries on soft ground. Yet to be tested on a heavy track but deserves the benefit of the doubt. HEY DAISY (2) ran an eye-catching second over today's journey at Eagle Farm two back then tired at the end of 1100m on a heavy track last time. Can improve coming back in distance. RIVA D'AMOR (9) impressed first-up here in heavy going and looks a threat. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nepravda to score first-up.
