DIAGHILEV (2) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at this track over 1400m, beaten 13 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. WHITI TE RA (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 12 lengths when 15th in a 2000m contest at Chukyo a month ago after being in contention on the turn. Has the talent to find the winners' list. YAMAJUN YOUNG (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 9 lengths, over 1400m at this track after he settled well back. Should be peaking now and can turn things around. MY LOVERS (1) has been out of the frame at her last couple of runs, last time finishing 19 lengths back in 14th over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Worth another chance in this easier assignment.
