Strong tempo assured from Power Maiden and Rhetoric leading the charge. EVERYBODY RISE (1) returns from a five-and-a-half months break but will strip fitter for two trial placings. Yet to miss the frame fresh. Rates a top hope and should be in the finish. RHETORIC (4) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 860m at Gatton, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Taking on a better field but he is fitter and good enough to feature. TORQUE TOO EASY (8) was lining up for just the second time last start when 12th over 1000m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 9 lengths. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Debut run was encouraging so she is worth another chance. SWEET ARMANI (6) produced another moderate effort last start when 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 860m at Gatton. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Everybody Rise to make a winning return.
