Pace genuine with Helping Hands booting up to lead. Tough. NIC'S CHOICE (3) peaks off two placed efforts here over 1400m. Has been hitting the line well and the step-up to the mile suits. He can come over the top of them. LA BELLE GRANDE (10) was quickly back to her best winning a 56 over 1400m at Werribee. Has some weight relief and will be fitter again. Maps well and expect the form to stack up. HELPING HANDS (4) jumped out well and was heavily backed at Stony Creek on debut winning a Maiden comfortably over this distance. Raced forward and draws inside today. Has plenty of scope for improvement and Stackhouse goes aboard. DELTA SKY (6) wasn't beaten far here and at Caulfield Heath over 1500m following. Suited back to this level and with the 1.5kg claim is well in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Nic's Choice.
