Plenty of speed engaged with Go Left, Wise Inlaw and Tempt The Gods going forward ahead of Tallingas Indirose and Keep It Real. CHOWDOWN (5) looks well placed. The first-up win was solid at $1.90 but he really caught the eye last time at Flemington when quickly up in grade, finding the line well behind a smart filly in Exit. He clearly relished the wet ground there and should get his toe in here too. He beat home WISE INLAW (4) in that Flemington race who did start much shorter in the market. Fancy he's had his chance of late but he does have better tactical speed which will help turn the tables. JETT SMASH (3) has won both starts this time in, too good under 61kg at Pakenham last time out. Up to 1400m for the first time but that should be fine and he maps well. HIGHVOL (1) resumes having gotten over a Derby trip last time in but he has the class to figure fresh. CINTURATO (6) comes back from a mile having chased home a good one last time, this suits. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chowdown to win.
