Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Notabadbuy, Pariah Pearl and Flying Mikki to control the tempo. ALERO (1) is in fine form of late and looks set to continue it, well backed in a good race two back before just finding one better at Caulfield last time again when in the market. Drawn wide here but he's got the speed to push on and find the top and from there he'll take plenty of running down. FLOWERDALE (15) was too bad to be true as favourite at Geelong last time and has been freshened since. The second to Terilee prior reads very well and she can bounce back quickly. DOLLAR CHASER (7) doesn't win out of turn but is going well, just finding one better last time in this grade. He can run well at each-way odds. LOUIS BARTHAS (11) has won two on the bounce and will be strong late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alero to win.
