Genuine pace with Purosangue taking up the running ahead of Dare You and Stay Frosty. STAY FROSTY (1) has been racing well off some tough gates, and he gets a big swing in his draw this time. He is perfectly placed after a 3kg claim, and a wet track is no problem for him. If the inside part of the track is not too bad, then he is the one to beat for ours. PETITE ROCHER (9) was doing her best work late over this trip here just over 3 weeks ago when finishing runner-up. Michael McNab replacing an apprentice is a strong lead, and she is the main danger to the top pick. PUROSANGUE (6) tried hard when finishing fifth on debut at Te Aroha 18 days ago, and he will be better for that experience. He has won a trial prior, and he will be spot on for this assignment on his home track. Stick with him for all top 4 combos. COWBOY (2) only peaked late when finishing fourth fresh at Pukekohe 2 weeks ago. He has the winkers on for the first time, and he can figure in the top 4 again. BOLD AND BRAVE (5) finished fifth in the same race as the fourth pick when making his debut. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay Frosty can win this, and Petite Rocher to make the quinella.
