Strong tempo with Mau Lino and Mikuni Sunshine leading the way over Copacabana. MIKUNI SUNSHINE (8) turned in a fine effort to score by 4 lengths at this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. SHAWSHANK (5) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at this track two starts back then landed the prize by 0.8 lengths last time out over 2000m at this track. Must raise the bar but another win is not out of the question. LYCEUM (1) produced a reasonable effort to finish 1.1 lengths away in third last start over 2000m at this track. That followed a first-up win at this track. Taking on a better field but he is good enough. FUTABA SUCCESS (4) travelled in a rearwards position and was disappointing over 2000m at this track last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run prior. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals.
