Expecting a solid tempo with several of these capable of pushing on early. SUFFOLK STAR (5) comes here off a dominant win at Sandown Hillside over this distance in a similar race, coming away to score by five lengths on that occasion. This doesn't look any harder and he'll be hard to hold out once more. HIGHLAND BLAZE (2) resumed with a very respectable sixth in the Listed Roy Higgins at Flemington, only beaten three lengths there as a 60/1 chance. He's one of the best jumpers in the country en route to Warrnambool but he can certainly win this on the flat. CABLE DANCER (4) hasn't won in a while but is going okay in some trickier races and 3000m should be up his alley. ENCHANTED ELLE (6) ran much better second up in the Country Oaks at Ballarat, up in trip only suits better for this jumping mare too. WHISKY MOON (7) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Suffolk Star to win.
