Affermato has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. BRYANT (5) scored two back at Randwick then was a month between runs when a tiring seventh in a similar race here a fortnight ago. Strips fitter and if at his best is a serious contender. SAMMY CONQUERS ALL (2) has tackled two far stronger races since resuming from a spell and has been found wanting. Generally hits his straps at this stage of the prep. Watch for a spike in form. READY TO SHINE (7) closed well to grab second in a comparable race to this at his latest outing. Lightly raced five-year-old who is rarely far from the money. MAWJOOD (1) is back from a five-month spell. Goes well when fresh and a couple of recent trial wins suggest he is in for a bright return. HARRY'S EVIDENCE (12) caught the eye late in the piece over this course and distance last start. Going well this prep and is a sound top three chance again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bryant to win.
