SHINZEN HACHIMAN (2) turned in a fine effort to win comfortably at this track and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up performance. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. BABY VAGY (1) made progress last time out, finishing third at the end of 1400m at Urawa. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. SMART SELAM (4) failed to live up to market expectations last start when out of the placings. Likely improver with strong prospects.
