Genuine pace with Holomua taking up the running ahead of Dynamite Gammo and Tezcatlipoca. HOLOMUA (1) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance five months ago over 1700m at Monbetsu. Has switched to the Masahiro Fukuda yard. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. TEZCATLIPOCA (6) tackled the mile for the first time last start at this track and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight he boxed on for second. Is yet to break through this campaign but is racing well, finishing in the money at all three starts. Should be in the finish. DYNAMITE GAMMO (5) met with solid support when resuming last start over 1600m at this track when third, beaten 2.25 lengths. Expected to improve and gets her chance. DELIVERANCE (10) showed early speed from an outside draw when fresh from a spell last time out and led for much of the way before finding a couple better at the end of 1600m at this track. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
