CRYPTO MAGIC (1) has placed over this track and trip and will be rock-hard fit for this. Gets 2kg weight relief with the claim and looms as the main danger. AMELIORATION (7) has had a few chances but is usually thereabouts and looks a must for the multiples. CLASSIC SHIRAZ (8) hasn't been too far away of late and may earn some minor money again. EMPRESS ASPEN (10) solid effort last start, beaten 0.8 lengths into second over 1800m at Sunshine Coast. Up in trip and Jones sticks. Should be right in this. PROMISES MADE (11) next in line out of the champion Waller yard. Ran a 9-length ninth at Ipswich last start. Worth plenty of thought for wider plays. SUGGESTED PLAY: Simply Gold to shed the maiden tag.
