Above The Law has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. ABOVE THE LAW (2) will be cherry ripe at the third run back from a spell. Shared the lead before finding a couple better over 1300m here a fortnight ago. Failed once at this trip but it was at the end of the prep. Should dictate and can lead this modest field a merry dance. FREDDIE BASSETT (1) began awkwardly then travelled wide before knuckling down late to be beaten under a length first-up over 1350m at Wyong. Gets a gun run from the inside alley and blinkers on for the first time might add some sparkle. SIMPLY GOLD (7) turned next to last before working home well for fifth when resuming over 1400m at Bendigo recently. Finished just three lengths adrift in the 2200m Geelong Classic last time in work so a bit more ground today is ideal. LOVE 'N' GLORY (4) was a real eye-catcher on debut at Bendigo and the mile looks perfect. SARAPO (5) might be better of back at the mile and is a rough each-way hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: Above The Law to lead all the way.
