CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF THE HK SEVENS 1000M HANDICAP 1000m

Track: GOOD      

Strong pace from Macanese Master and Spicy Spangle matching motors with Always My Folks close at hand. MACANESE MASTER (5) is hard to knock on his recent form, missing behind a big winner on the All Weather most recently. Back to 1000m today is a big key, as is the inside draw. Ticking along nicely and can go one better this time around. LUCKY GENERATIONS (3) got a long way back but never featured at Sha Tin last time out when beaten a long way. His run over 1200m here prior was very good when flying late to score in a photo. Back in trip today, but the Blinkers go on and Moreira hops on board. Can bounce back. ALWAYS MY FOLKS (6) never got into the race last week at this track but was better over this trip two starts ago. Purton remains in the saddle and if he gets a touch of luck from the draw, he'll be right in the finish. ORIENTAL SURPRISE (9)is better than he showed last time out and has placed in 2/4 at this track and trip. Can play a leading role.
