Swycho, Cascade Mountain and Midlife Crisis can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. MIDLIFE CRISIS (1) is ticking along superbly and doesn't need to improve much to be winning again. Has been kept fresh with 46 days in between runs and stays at a winning trip. The 3kg claim gets him in a treat at the weights and looks the one to beat. BLACK SEA (7) returns a gelding and makes his stable debut for the Bain & Taylor partnership. Strips fitter for two trials and keeps Holder, with the benefit of the inside pillar. Expecting him to make his presence felt. DUO PERNA (4) lacks early speed but possesses a sharp turn of foot. Is sure to drift back again from her draw and will be hoping they run along so he can reel them in late. TOP OF THE RIDGE (6) drops back to a more suitable journey and should find this a bit easier. Has proven versatile with his speed, so interesting to see what they do from a sticky draw. If he brings his A-game he'll be fighting out the finish. BOLTED IN (8) continues to race well and is certainly one to consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: Midlife Crisis to win.
