Incredible Patch might not get things his own way up front with a few first starters engaged. SHE MEANS BUSINESS (10) worked home nicely on debut over 1200m when finishing fourth, and she will continue to improve as she steps out over more ground. The extra 200m is ideal, and having Michael McNab in the saddle this time is a strong lead, and she will go close to taking this out. ALMAN D'ORO (5) has made steady improvement at the trials, and he will have the aid of a 2kg claim for his debut. He is bred to want more ground, and a wide gate could be a blessing in disguise by this time of the day. Follow the market leads. THE RITZ (11) ended her last prep in the G2 Lowland Stakes in the spring. She is stronger now, and she is capable of a top 4 finish. Watch for her to be steaming home late. DON'T TELL THE MRS (4) showed plenty of promise without winning earlier in the season, and he looked sharp when winning a recent Avondale trial. A wet track is what he needs, and he will be ready to rumble fresh. HIP FLASK (1) has been given plenty of time to mature, and he has won a trial. SUGGESTED PLAY: Don't Tell The Mrs each-way.
