A solid tempo on the cards with Hellabella leading the way. RANTAN (2) has raced three times this prep, all at 1000m. Settled near the tail from an outside draw then lengthened nicely in the run home to get up for fourth last start at this track. Crying out for this trip now and looks ready win. Speedy filly HELLABELLA (10) has come of age this prep. Just missed first-up at Wyong then led all the way for a tough maiden win over today's journey at Rosehill last time. Will be hard to beat again with Clark dictating terms. SURF'S UP (5) started favourite first-up over 1150m at the Kensington track but after trailing the small field into the straight could only get up for fourth. Goes well second-up and has three top-three finishes here at the trip from as many attempts. Can improve enough to take this out. JUST GLAMOUROUS (4) is back from a five-month break. The winner of two from four when fresh so must come into calculations. MAQUISA (11) usually struggles in town but can sneak into the top four. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Rantan.
