Strong tempo with Claude Monet, Bonne Bouche and Champagne Mac leading the charge. LOVERS LANE (4) challenged strongly over 1200m here last time but was outrun late, finishing second of nine. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He meets the right field to go one place better. GRAVITY (10) finished fourth in the same race as the top selection last start and looks well placed here to return to form. TAMBOURINE MAN (5) was disappointing in his last start over 1200m on this course when finishing last of 15. He returns from a spell which may have done him the world of good. It is encouraging that Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle and having won fresh-up previously should be competitive. CHAMPAGNE MAC (7) was disappointing when finishing fifth of nine over 1200m here last time. He finished second over this course and distance in his penultimate outing. Aldo Domeyer is in the saddle and he may be able to get the best out of him when it matters most.
