MEISHO KAIKON (3) got the upper hand late to score by half a length last time out over 1400m at this track at the second run of the campaign. Right in contention again. CHERRY RUSSIAN (4) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing third, beaten 2.25 lengths, over today's trip at this track. Ready to go a couple better. MEINER ALAUDA (1) wound up strongly only to just miss last start over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to go one better. ZENDAN SKY (2) returns from a spell of 11 weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when tenth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Yoshihiro Iida. Should camp just off the leaders. Should give backers a sight.
