TRAIL RUNNER (1) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by 1.1 lengths over 1450m at Turffontein Inside. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from four runs. Hard to fault winning this trip last time and can make it three straight. BRAVE VIKING (2) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at Turffontein Standside. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. READY SET FIRE (8) finished 3.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1160m at Turffontein Standside a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Strong top-three chance. MICHAEL FARADAY (7) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but was below par last time when out of the placings at Turffontein Standside over 1400m. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
