Genuine tempo from Kfir leading K's Blanc. NITRO (8) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by 1.5 lengths last time out over 1200m at this track. Genki Fujimoto scored on him last time and retains the mount. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. JET SPEED (7) returns from a layoff of four months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1200m at Ohi. Has a solid first-up record of three wins and seven placings from 11 runs. Should be hard to stop. A SHIN SCOTTY (2) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths starting at $4.30. The engagement of Kota Motohashi is a positive move. Finds a nice race and can atone. SMILE NOW (6) closed last prep with a disappointing fifth over 1000m at this track. Back for a new campaign with a change of rider. Takayuki Yano is back on and has a solid record on the five-year-old, including four wins. Not to be discounted.
